courtesy of quyen, here's a link to a test... to see if you can tell the difference between chinese, japanese, and korean.
i got 9 out of 18 right. however, the 9 out of 18 right i did get were total guesses. i couldn't even make an educated guess. seriously, i couldn't tell the difference.
so, yeah. i'm gonna say that asians all look the same. and i can say that because i'm asian. :P
i'll bet steve gets a higher score than i do.

I like to think I can tell a difference between people of japanese descent and people of chinese descent. In my experience, the japanese have less curved facial features, and most distinct eyes. As a caveat, never try to call a race before you know for sure. you can come across as VERY shallow or even rascist the moment you publicly proclaim you can tell a difference.
I also got 10 out of 18 -- I think I would have done better if there was also Filipino and Vietnamese options. I don't know many Koreans.
Well, I never pay much attention to race. I usually care more whether people's personalities are nice or not. I guess my results bear me out. I got 5 right.

i scored 8/20. and i'm filipino. that makes it a wee bit more terrible, i guess.
I only got seven right. I suck. I think I got most of the Korean ones right though. So can we still be friends? :)
Score a big five for me! And the only reason I got those is because I chose Korean for whoever had the same shape head as the picture in your profile.
But honestly, do you really want the white boy to be able to tell you apart? Those who do must be waaaay too far up Asian culture's ass.
