yet another pet peeve...
so, we sent out an evite to some friends...
tell, me, please... why is everyone so quick to respond "no" but so slow to respond "yes?"
people are afraid to look like they have nothing better to do. it's so fucking stupid.
who the fuck cares what other people fucking think???? when someone's declining an invite, you'll see it within an hour of the evite being sent. when there is a yes, it takes 4 days.
stop frontin'! shit. i'm so sick of everyone. why are we even doing this? i hate people, but i like to entertain. don't ask. it's just one of those strange things in life. i'd rather host a party than go to a party. i think it's because when you're hosting, you don't have to mingle. you just cook and do a half-assed mingle with everyone and it's not nearly so painful. i dunno. i'm just weird.
anyway, i'm in a foul mood today. i hate being sick.

When I get an evite (rare because I am lame) I usually reply "yes" right away because I am so excited to be invited to something. BUT it always happens that the day of the party comes and the excitement has worn off and I don't feel like going so I almost always flake out.

i never understood what takes people so long to reply to an evite. what's the point if people aren't going to answer at all?

You're inviting the wrong people. Michael and I would come. What are you making? Is it a cocktail party or dinner party? Sounds like fun.
we're just having a bbq and then screening "shaun of the dead" which is a funny as shit movie.
supposedly it's coming out very, very soon... but we'll screen it first :P having a projector kicks ass.
if anyone can think of any side dishes for me to make, lemme know. heh.
